Looking forward to seeing her on the road when all finished. Who did she belong to before? 27 years is a long time to own, was it a clubbie? I purchased the car from Karen Metz, I checked the old ownership papers, she purchased the car in 1983 so actually owned it for some 32 years :shock: Not sure...

Might be worth popping a post up on https://www.facebook.com/ZClubNZ/ or if you're in Auckland, Northland or Waikato areas or near enough, come along to Caffeine & Classics or Sunday and talk to owners, make contact, get word on the ground to any Z's that maybe looking for a new carer.

After nearly selling or burning the Race Z I got the motivation to get it out to Pukekohe this weekend for a hoon, she ran well and I quickly released the 3.9 diff ratio was the wrong choice running out of revs very very early. Main goal was to try a duct I made up in a hurry to see if my oil temps...

For current financial members we have done valuations, usually carried out by a senior member of the club, as most of the classic car insurers realise that senior member of the club will obviously know a lot more about them, than someone doing the odd Z valuaton.
