L28 compression - F54, P90a

Hi all I have been doing a lot of research on the compression for my engine recondition. I am running a F54, 86.5flat tops, with p90a solid lifter head. I am aiming for about 9.5:1 compression. I see a lot of people do the 0.08 skin and shim, but want to avoid shimming. What can I achieve without ha...

L28 - Cam Shaft Profile

I have had my cam profiled and would love some help deciphering what some of the values mean. Its used with 3x40DCOE

http://www.iforce.co.nz/View.aspx?i=benk551n.igs.png

I understand some aspects of the profile, but would also like to know what characteristics this may have.

Cheers,
Jason

Before i brought it, it was last on the road in 1995.

Cheers for the reply, My main concern isnt so much what i will find, but whether the sandblasting will do more damage. I hear some peoples opinion on sandblasting is quite low, and causes warping etc. But i spose its just finding someone who knows what they are doing. Definitely plan on keeping her ...

240z Rust and Body Repairs - Hamilton

Hi,

Looking at the next steps for my 240z.

I am looking for a reputable panel beater/restoration place to get some work done.

Some rust repairs (of course), and general panel work. Will be a full strip down and respray.

Who can people recommend in Hamilton?

Cheers,
Jason

Off the shelf or built headers

I am looking at ordering the 6-1 MSA thermal coated header for my L28. But before i order them thought i would check for opinions/wether it is worthwhile to just get a set made here in nz?

Cheers!
