Re: Wanted- carb set up for L28

When I fitted the 2.8 there was not much work required to change to accommodate the larger engine, in fact, it ran quite well with 2 litre ECU. Fuel injection systems have changed a lot since ther...

Re: Wanted- carb set up for L28

Yep Fuel injection a viable option, will cost a little more than triple carbs but certainly delivers the goods. I have that conversion on my car. Basically a 280ZX manifold and you buy all the other stuff. I am still running my distributor.

I really get what you are saying, but you will notice it where others wouldn't. But in the end, you have to be happy with the finish, it's the fine details that make the difference between being good or excellent. keep up the good work and thanks for your posts, I look forward to your posts.

Re: Burnt Orange colour match - Leather replacement

Personally I doubt that you will be able to match it, the best way forward is to match the grain or texture and then get it painted once stiched together. There are guys who specialise in this and if done correctly will stand the test of time.

240z Rendering

https://www.motor1.com/photo/5018393/datsun-240z-roadster-renderings/ Something that could off but wasn't. I know Japan had drawing os a convertible. I am looking for a reasonable certifier in the Auckland area to certify work we are doing to our little Datsun, adding a turbo and front brake upgrade which means a bit of welding to the struts. I have downloaded the regs from the Land Transport site so sort of know what I can or can't do but want t...
